Moorecroft Stewards are excited to be part of the annual Art in the Garden event in Nanoose Bay, July 19-20, 2014.
Come and meet members of the team who volunteer their time to work with the Regional District of Nanaimo on the rehabilitation of this beautiful park for the benefit of all and on development of a history of the park from its early days under Gertrude Moore through it’s operation by the United Church of Canada (BC Conference).
This annual event, hosted by the Seselja Family at 2525 Northwest Bay Road, Nanoose Bay is an opportunity to view the work of 54+ Vancouver Island artisans and listen to live music in one of the most lovely gardens in Nanoose. Painters, potters, sculptors, furniture, jewellery, soap makers (and more!) will be showcasing their work from stalls situated around a large trout pond on the 10 acre property.
Come purchase a bird house and/or learn more about the park with a special history.
For more information on the event and profiles of some of the participating artisans – check out the Art in the Garden website.
Feel like helping out? We’re looking for volunteers to “man/woman” our booth. If you are interested, please fill out the following form and you’ll be contacted right away!
