The Moorecroft Stewards are involved in numerous community events throughout the year.

In 2013 volunteers from Moorecroft helped with the annual Crabfest at Northwest Bay Ranch, home to SeaFood4Life.   Local residents and visitors enjoyed a family-friendly feast of crab, corn on the cob and coleslaw accompanied by live music – all for $30.    Hosts Kim and Trish Mauriks donated a portion of the proceeds to Moorecroft.

Moorecroft was well represented at the annual Art in the Garden event in Nanoose Bay in July 2014.   It was a very successful weekend, providing greater exposure to the regional park as well as bringing together a number of people who were previously affiliated with the camp.   Read about the event and see photos by clicking here.
